The Eleven of the New Chamber Choir 2022

From Tosca to Carmina Burana

​

For several years, the Schiller-Gymnasium Heidenheim  has provided the opera children's choir at the opera festival. So in the productions of Tosca, Carmen, Turandot and Bajazzo. Once again, the Heidenheim Opera Festival Directorate decided to cast a children's and youth festival choir  for the production of Giuseppe Verdi's opera Macbeth for the pupils of the NEUES KAMMERCHORES of the Schiller-Gymnasium, who thus for the fifth time as the only contributors from Heidenheim.

At the request of the festival office, Thomas Kammel had also given his approval for the 2022 season. With his approx. 30 young singers from grades 6 - 9 he provided the children's choir at the performance of "Carmina Burana" as part of the "Last Night". This choir has already gained a lot of experience through its participation in last year's operas and was very much celebrated at the performances.

Many of the eleven then became members of the NEUEN KAMERCHOR HEIDENHEIM.
